If I have no collateral, can they use the car as collateral?
Answer:
Yes, some lenders will use the car as collateral, but if you default on the payments be prepared to lose the car. The lender will repossess the car to get their money back. If you make the proper payments at the proper times, it will all go towards you building a good credit record.
